Early Childhood Screening

Minnesota law requires that all children must have a health and developmental screening before entering kindergarten in a public school. Early Childhood Screening is a free check of how your 3-year-old is growing, developing, and learning. The screening includes a developmental assessment, vision, and hearing testing, height and weight measurement and an immunization and health history review.

The purpose of this FREE screening is to identify children who may need additional time and experiences to be ready for school. The sooner we get started, the more likely your child will begin school with the necessary skills to succeed.
