    In today’s class we will be making a bag saver … bag savers are a favorite of everyone and can be used for a variety of uses ... plastic grocery bags, rags, stuffed animals, stray socks. Do away with that under the sink area or that junk drawer that you use to store those plastic bags. Place your bags into the top of the bag saver and pull them out from the bottom as needed. Limit of 6 per session.

    Tonight we will sew up a Baked Potato Bag. The BEST tasting baked potatoes come from this bag - which is made will all 100% cotton materials. Other veggies that work well with this bag in the microwave are corn and asparagus. It’s all in the “foot” … we will learn about different “feet” to use with different projects. Tonight we are going to cover some of the most common embroidery stitches, how to thread the needle, different applications for embroidery, and how to make your back look as nice as your top. I will share a little secret about embroidery floss, learned from trials and errors over the years. We will be making a dish towel with the state of Minnesota on. ALL supplies including dishtowels and embroidery hoops will be provided AND you will get to keep your embroidery hoop for future projects! We will meet at Tonnabells in downtown TRF. In Battle Drones, teams of students will build robotic launchers designed to fling projectiles at their opponents' drones. Students will be guided by experienced camp instructors in how to construct their launchers to maximize projectile speed and accuracy. The camp will culminate in an epic battle where students will need to pilot their drones to safety by dodging opponent projectiles while using their own launchers to take down opponent drones. The best drone pilots and launchers will emerge victorious! Limit 20.

    Facebook took on Etsy and eBay in 2016 with the launch of Marketplace, a feature within the main Facebook app that you can use to buy and sell goods. We've seen it work really well on a local basis because it's so simple to see free and pay-for items that are around where you live - and around the stuff you're interested in. Before Marketplace, people used Facebook Groups to buy, sell, trade, and barter. You could set up a garage sale-type group for your community, for instance, so that people in your local neighborhood could post things they had for sale and look for items from others. It was a bit clunky though, with Marketplace offering a much more streamlined approach.     Students will create a creature (person, animal, or thing with human attributes) out of modeling clay. Then we will create a short storybook about their creature that will help with writing skills. Students can share their creations with others. Ages 6+. Limit 12.
